"I'll wait another 200 years" Either he has a secret longevity formula or he's not very smart, my guess is the second.

  • Reply Montalvo Monteka May 20, 2019 at 12:41 pm

There is something grimy about this appraisal usually he seems legit but this time he seem like he was scamming him on the price

  • Reply Linz Leard May 21, 2019 at 2:56 am

Grad doesn’t know anything about Napoleon Bonaparte or history in general. I’ll give him $1500 to GTFO…

  • Reply Iron man May 23, 2019 at 12:32 am

Rick: "I'll give you $4 and a hard time, not a penny more…and I'm taking all the risk here."

  • Reply Awe47 May 25, 2019 at 9:09 pm

Ya sure this is not a picture of rick?

In Las Vegas…….to be ten minutes away he must be living in a cardboard box a couple blocks over.

  • Reply Jammin6796 June 6, 2019 at 1:38 am

never tell them how much you want for it before the fraudulent appraiser comes in..

  • Reply Alex Lopez June 6, 2019 at 5:17 pm

They work together to lowball everyone

  • Reply Lenny Ninja06 June 8, 2019 at 1:30 am

Ha-ha, the Yanks are so brash, calling the victor of Austerlitz, author of the Napoleonic Civil Code and Emperor of the French "this guy". Talk about understatement…

  • Reply D-Day Fitness June 8, 2019 at 2:24 am

$1,000 is a GOOD DEAL, considering the DEALER!

  • Reply Hakeem 34 Olajuwon June 10, 2019 at 4:55 am

if this expert is fake, i wonder if there were certain items that rick or pawn stars and him set up to try and get for cheap, so they could ultimately sell it for more.

  • Reply jeroen R June 11, 2019 at 4:11 pm

how can anyone believe 1 word that 'expert' steve has to say about an autograph, the guy is a convicted fraud

  • Reply sammey1 June 19, 2019 at 8:53 pm

First thing I'd want to know is where he got it from. So superficial and staged.

  • Reply pasm05 June 20, 2019 at 4:02 pm

Steve Grad is the biggest con artist on the show

  • Reply Major Denis Bloodnok June 20, 2019 at 7:05 pm

In fact, 1500 $ seem a good estimation. Napoleon wrote or dictated more than 33000 letters (he was able to dictate 4 letters in the same time to his secretaries!), so letters with only his signature are not rare at all. But letters written (he didn't like to write himself and had a terrible handwriting) and signed by Napoleon are far more rare and expensive.

I love people that go to a pawnshop and are disappointed. Not to mention, this pawnshop marks up their items to make for good tv.

  • Reply Dave Pecoraro July 11, 2019 at 11:08 am

Steve the fraud.. Signed Napoleon letter at auction usually go for $3,200 minimum

  • Reply gm92845 July 17, 2019 at 7:18 pm

This "expert" has low balled every single customer that has come into the shop. I remember other experts would mention that the contents of the letter add value. I'm sure the guy could get more money at auction than selling it to Rick. He should also get rid of this fake clown expert.

Napoleon wasnt little he was 5'7 witch for the time period was actually tall. The French at the time height scale in today's standard would say hes five three but if you do the math an look at paintings he wasn't short

  • Reply Phet Tumbling August 12, 2019 at 9:06 am

Rick:"Do you mind if I have someone 👀 at it?"
    Seller: Not at all
Rick: I'll get him down here.

Minutes later, EXPERT SCAMMER COMES IN

  • Reply Nathaniel Lopez August 14, 2019 at 1:49 pm

People aren't going to line up at the door for a napoleon signature.. 2 mins later this piece will go quick!
    Me: 😑

Bull Crap… that is worth more than that smdh… pawn stars you are scammers … your expert is an imbecile!

  • Reply Zachary Robinson August 25, 2019 at 12:22 pm

The appraisal is way off base. We are talking about one of the greatest military strategic minds of all time. This can go for so much more money. However the so called “experts” are paid a percentage to short change the seller.

  • Reply Zachary Robinson August 25, 2019 at 12:24 pm

I have the cross that Jesus was crucified on and he came back and signed it himself also I have the crown of thorns that was placed on his head. Rick let me get an expert here comes an expert in religious artifacts.. expert oh the market is flooded with Jesus memorabilia it’s worth 500 dollars 😂😂

  • Reply Facina August 27, 2019 at 10:07 pm

Wow. He likes how Napoleon micro managed. I really hope he isn’t a manager somewhere.

  • Reply Beef Stroganoff September 2, 2019 at 4:51 am

Key note. The French were a world power (outside of the Anglosphere) well into the 1900s. A couple of world wars and "Migrant Invasions" is all it took to bring them down to a multicultural 3rd world country.

  • Reply Michael Tegner September 9, 2019 at 9:09 pm

This “expert” is so unbelievably untrustworthy that I wouldn’t let him appraise a 1$ bill

  • Reply chuckfan1 September 10, 2019 at 2:22 am

Rick: sooo, I'm assuming you want to sell it?
Customer : well, let's see, I'm in a Pawn Shop, and I'm showing it to you. So, no, I dont want to sell, I want to trade it for a brush to brush my hair

  • Reply Amit Kumar September 11, 2019 at 2:04 am

After watching numerous pawn stars videos, I know now that Rick tells the appraiser beforehand what the customer is expecting so the expert can low-ball them

  • Reply tim king September 26, 2019 at 5:15 pm

So his expert says the marketplace is flooded with nepoleons signature and that there arent many ppl looking for it.
Then after he gives a very lowball evaluation he says that the shop will have no problem selling the piece????

  • Reply Steve Shortridge October 3, 2019 at 3:19 am

Rickcan't do it, I've gotta get it framed and…

Known fact: rick will never be at the shop and help you pawn items, it’s all staged and people are picked out to sell to rick for the show on history channel, the shoppers In the background are not real shoppers , they are paid background or do it for free, but production picked from an audience agency
