Asked Questions and Questions You Should Ask. I am writing this series of lectures for the
simple purpose of giving you a solid foundation for what you need to do in law school to become
successful. You will save time, money, and effort and I always promise to be completely
truthful with you in everything that I convey to you and the information and secrets that
we talk about. Law school can be difficult, law school can
be hard work, or law school can be very easy. Do not make it hard on yourself. You are in the right place to become a law
school success. Frequently Asked Question #4 How important is a law dictionary in law school? • M.A.D.TM is the most effective method
for learning the law. Memorize
Apply Dissertate • Exam Writing Definitions • Idiomatic Law • Black’s Law Dictionary vs. Dean’s
Law Dictionary Mens rea – Duty of care – Proximate cause
Felony murder – Negligence – Nuisance Insanity – Consideration – Offer – Violation
of Statute • Felony Murder It’s all about getting M.A.D. TM You have
to Memorize, Apply and Dissertate the law. If you’ve been reading or listening to our
other lectures you know this is the key to the methodology that we profess is the only
way to learn the law. It is. It’s the only way that works to learn the law. But these
activities require information to be fed into them. * What do you memorize?
* Where do you get these definitions? (We call these exam writing definitions.)
* How do you apply the law? You ask and answer questions but
* How do you answer the idiomatic expressions? Those are the ones where the law consists
of complex theories and ideas and many multifaceted positions on how the law looks at it: majority
minority law etc. etc. A good dictionary will have all these materials
in them. Exam Writing Definitions: Let’s go over exam writing definitions. exam
writing definitions are the definitions that you memorize; that you turn in the questions;
so you can answer them and dissertate on the law. This is so you can properly write an
answer. Here are some exam writing definitions: – Consideration: The bargained-for exchange
that induces current performance, offers detriment, and is binding. – Felony murder: An unintended homicide
occurring within the res gestae of an independent inherently dangerous felony. – Offer: An offer is a manifestation of
contractual intent communicated to an identified offeree with definiteness and certainty of
terms. .
Let’s look at the consideration. You need that definition to be able to issue spot because
you ask: * Was there a bargain for exchange?
* Was there inducement of current performance? * Was there detriment? and
* Is it binding? You can ask and answer those questions. Now
most questions that you ask are role over play dead; just about anybody can answer them.
Even Joe sixpack on the street can do it. Go up to him and ask the question and show
him the facts. And he’ll go, “Oh yeah, right here, that’s the answer.”
Joe can’t answer the idiomatic expressions. The idiomatic law is concepts and ideas. In
consideration it’s when you ask whether there was a bargained for exchange and in
felony murder it’s the inherently dangerous felony and in offer it’s the manifestation
a contractual intent. These are ideas. So not only in a good dictionary
do you need exam writing definitions, you also need to have full explanations and flushed
out idiomatic law where it explains the concepts and ideas related to the law. This is so you
can understand what’s going on and you can actually ask and answer these questions. We have a task for you to do. Black’s Law Dictionary versus Dean’s Law
Dictionary This is the first time that you will be able
to verify what we’re telling you is so true and so important to you that you’ll begin
to trust everything that were saying to you is the absolute truth. We want to do a little experiment. If you
go to we want you to download the demo version for Dean’s Law Dictionary
or Rom LawTM. In there you can use the Dean’s Law Dictionary for three days. Put it on your
Windows laptop, truck on over to a local library or a law library. Make sure they have a copy
of Black’s Law Dictionary and we want you to look up these terms in Dean’s Law and Black’s
Law dictionary. Mens rea – Duty of care – Proximate cause
Felony murder – Negligence – Nuisance Insanity – Consideration – Offer – Violation
of Statute These are all idiomatic expressions. So you
look those up and compare them. Compare the definitions in Blacks. Compare the definitions
in Dean’s and you’ll quickly see which is the more valuable tool. You have to look for
the exam writing definitions. You have to look for the idiomatic law. We’ve done part of it for felony murder. Here’s
what we found for felony murder. Felony Murder
Dean’s Black’s Words 32,035 125
Exam Writing Yes (1) No History Yes (1) No
Idiomatic Yes (21) No Comparison Yes (1) No
Case cites Yes No Dean’s is on the left. Black’s is on the
right. Dean’s law dictionary has a 32,000+ words that define all the concepts related
to felony murder. Black’s has the sum total of 125. Dean’s has an exam writing definitions.
Black’s doesn’t. Dean’s has a complete history of the felony murder rule. Black’s
doesn’t. Dean’s has all the idiomatic law based on 21 definitions and sub definitions.
Black’s has 125 words. Dean’s is 320 or 300 to 1 bigger than the other one. Dean’s law dictionary even has comparison
definitions. In learning concepts, many times the best way to learn a concept is to compare
between the concept and another area of the law. So when you see the comparisons many
people learn by learning from comparison definitions. Dean’s has a comparison definition for felony
murder. Black’s doesn’t. What’s even worse for you out there who
are professionals actually practicing law, Dean’s has case sites; thousands of them for
felony murder. Black’s has none. So we will ask you a simple question after
you’ve done our little experiment. You’ve downloaded the Dean’s law dictionary, put
it on your computer, you take your laptop over to a local law library or a local library
because they almost all have copies of Black’s: Which one’s better? Compare the terms and see everything for yourself.
When you do these comparisons yourself you begin to realize that if you read the information
in Dean’s and use that as a primary learning tool, what you begin to see very very quickly
is you’ll know more law the most profs well. That’s not an exaggeration. That’s not hyperbole.
That’s not any kind of a fluff statement. It is a statement of fact. If you keep reading
Dean’s and the idiomatic law expressions that are defined in Dean’s Law Dictionary you will
know vastly more information than most professors in law school. Do you want to be the best or do you want
to be just mediocre? This is a little experiment you have to do
and if you do it you’ll be shocked and you’ll also open your eyes. How important is a law dictionary in law school? * You need exam writing definitions.
* You need idiomatic law. You can download Dean’s Law Dictionary at You can use it for free for three days. Do the comparison and see for
yourself what’s going on. I did the comparison for felony murder for you. You need to do
the comparisons for these other areas of law as well. Do the Comparison and Get $30 off a first

    Actually you should include:

proximate cause, negligence, felony murder, consideration, nuisance, insanity, product liability, strict liability, mens rea principle, mary carter agreement, res judicata, Sixth Amendment, res ipsa loquitur which are just a small part of the more important concepts for law students to understand and, which everyone is tested heavily in school and in bar exams.

I agree up until the 5th edition it was a usable product mainly because it had case cites and you could go from them to get usable and workable information. Even so, the base definitions for many of the key idiomatic terms were and are still marginal.

Memorization is very applicable because one doesn't want to get caught off guard by an opponent or the judge.

This is an interesting comparison between Dean's and Black's Law Dictionaries. It helps to compare and see just how much of a difference there is between the two. The better a student has concepts explained, the better their comprehension and retention.

the idea having more readers of a dict somehow makes it a better dict goes against the law as their is the possibility only one is right and all others are wrong.
The example having more words to explain a definition would on the outset speak uncertainty with confusion acting like a salesman successfully selling a rubbish product door to door.
The giving of history of the definition is unreasonable as one would need to study foundation separately to gain understanding and own interpretation rather an imposed interpretation.
If the history interpretative was so accurate one could compile a software program to determine a case result. the world is flat
I would consider any dict that confers your argument a successful dict.

The biggest secret is that this dictionary was a hoax, written to highlight how pompous the legal profession had become.

I have studied the semantics of words for about 2 years now. Its interesting what one finds. What have I studied? I have looked a Black's Law 6th and 8th editions. I had Merriam Websters Unabridged Online dictionary, (that is a really great dictionary) I also study the etymologies of the words, synonyms, and even try to formulate a 'whole' concept of the word using all of the parts. The definitions, prefix, suffix, etymologies.

Other law dictionaries I have used is Bouvier's Law dictionary for 1856, the official dictionary for Congress (they even passed a Statute at Large saying that was the dictionary they were using to write laws).

I have also studied American Jurisprudence Constitutional, and Administrative Law, Corpus Juris Secundum. Judgements and Jurisdictions. The English Law as well..

    .§ 1-200. The common law.
The common law of England, insofar as it is not repugnant to the principles of the Bill of Rights and Constitution of this Commonwealth, shall continue in full force within the same, and be the rule of decision, except as altered by the General Assembly.
    (Code 1919, § 2, § 1-10; 2005, c. 839.)
(This is from the Code of Virginia. I find it humorous that they tell people what to study, and most just do not concern themselves with it. )

But I really do not want to join the British Accreditation Registry. Though that society probably does have its privileges.

what do you know about clan mother natural law from Creator (not from a monarchy)? nothing. none of yous know nothing about it. if you did youd know the true law of the land is with the 'natives/anishinabe' and their natural law of land, and can STOP the nw0 if we all side with true law of land from Creator Most High. this why all ppls should instead side with the natives of the land and NOT a crown monarchy creating satans nw0. why serve a kazarien/freemason/jesuit monarchy and her 'canada/usa' de facto admiralty law of SEA while you're on and from LAND? serving the dragons crown only tells Creator youre lost at sea serving a red dragon crown that Creator will destroy as warned.

Can anyone tell me why the term "you" is not in any legal dictionary? I have been unable to find a legal definition of "you". I found the word "water" was legally defined, but not the word "you". Maybe because when the judge asks "how do you plea", he's really addressing the fictional entity, not the human entity. But unbeknownst to nearly all of us is that when you reply with a plea, you have now created joinder with your strawman and thus can be held to account for it?

Blacks Law is the more ancient of the two Dictionaries.

A Fact of Law is that, the Principle is always the most important part of ANYTHING.

And the primitive is ALWAYS greater than the DERIVATIVE. A maxim is a Nations condensed common sense.

Blacks was a food tool up until the 6th/7th editions… The 9th is absolute bollox on its face…very condensed irrelevant to we the people but liars opps lawyers understand that fact.

  • Reply Gayle Miller June 1, 2018 at 1:36 pm

Interesting, however, natural law does not require legal reasoning. The moment one enters into legal reasoning one loses their rights and becomes a legal entity subject to contract law. Better to know the true law and to exercise one's rights in accordance with it than to submit to the will of another and require numerous legal dictionaries, text books etc. The law itself is exceedingly simple. Legal definitions are only required when one fails to uphold it.

  • Reply Divergent Droid July 19, 2018 at 3:25 am

This was interesting as hell. I watched not because I want to be a lawyer, but because I want to understand the legal definitions of words and language when examining legal documents that I own. I'd like to have a Windows version of the Black's law dictionary but nobody makes one. Deans would be nice but I would like Deans to have Black's definitions in the software too for easy comparison.

A romantic contract between man and his obsessive perversion of Creation , thinking its harmless flirting with language is acceptable , proves his absolution in stupidity. MAN/MEN.WOMAN/WOMEN , ARE NOT AND CAN NEVER BE CREATORS OF LAW BECAUSE IT ALREADY EXISTS WITHIN THEMSELVES THROUGH VIRTUE.
A weak society needing a babysitter to handle the obligations of the people , creates a monstrous mirror image of itself. Pathetic , Capitol hill being made strong with mortar mixed pure deception. How profoundly arrogant even the most respected JUSTICE in the highest seat of the WORLD court, has equal majesty to that of a Pig.
Within the confines of ACTUAL LAW ,The system demands simplicity instead of sucking its own dick to give an appearance of grandeur. In natural law , the only law as it is a local 3 d set of rules that can only apply in this reality , this is where HIGHER COURT AND LOWER COURT COME FROM.
Universal Law , = supreme court , Natural law = lower municipal .
Man became so envious of a set of rules , he could never get one over on , he decided to invent his own version of this.
Here's the Problem ,,, man is flawed from the beginning , incapable of consistent administration of law. You can not strip man of his need to drink water or to defalcate , to feel or think , or imagine his importance giving him / them the power to re create law everyday , based on gripping thesis writings.
Don't any of you see it. of course not , why would you try? I would mop the floor of the pantheon itself , with the ego of any law professor reading my words , because I already know , you already know. Not one human is contextually more than another .
Take a healthy , hardworking , mentally fit considering his 5th grade education. Now take a pasty , misshapen little fat man , physically unfit , but viewed by all his peers as a legal genius. Place them in front of each other , remove all clothing . NOW FIGHT TO THE DEATH , SURVIVOR GOES FREE . I can assure , the years of studying his secret language of banker rules for sociopaths will not help the evil little fat man. For natural law is as impressed with his legal verbiage bullshit , as the 5th grade educated honest man in good shape , therefore ending the battle quickly , and certainly. What good did this PROUD MAJESTY do by shouting out the most obscure , legal precedent as the other man silently pounded the jurist to death him? Did help him in the court of life ? no.
if you fall say 400 ft to pavement , what happens every single time? If you jump off a boat deep at sea and tell your friends : I am just as smart as any fish , the boat sails away , what happens to this strong willed individual?
the laws of nature are in control , not some acting school failures that dress up like female prostitutes , make up and powdered wig and all ,cloaked by a black robe . WHO ONLY HAS THE AUTHORITY WE PROVIDE HIM WITH … Only a matter of time before he finds himself bored , needing more power , more authority , needing to to create his interpretation of his pathetic penal codes. Peoples fascination with a good storyteller has imprisoned them . YOU THE PEOPLE CREATED YOUR GOVERNMENT , YOU ENDOWED IT WITH SPECIFIC BORDERS , YOU GAVE IT EVERYTHING BUT CONSEQUENCE FOR ITS OWN CRIMINAL ACTS . The American government should have been shut down in 1781 , and forced to start over the instant it choose to break the rules and recreate itself without its master permission , now you're left with a drunken unruly 30 something who instead of grabbing his ball and leaving mom and dads house to go fend for himself , declaring his right to eminent domain . He thinks hes always right , because , blah blah , Murphy vs Parents case law says this and blah blah , its bullshit , it's all dishonorable bullshit and every bar member or narcissist et al knows it.
how any of you have any respect for this man made thing you call DE JURE , is beyond me. I choose not to enter buildings built on false foundation , but that's just me , what the hell do I know? enjoy your imagined law. its just ridiculous
